It seems there is no end to the impressive things I find when I investigate Buddhism. The Dalai Lama has invited scientists to investigate practicing Buddhist monks’ brains to see if what they say is true. Namely, that meditation changes the brain to be better and more free, loving, and compassionate. This special report with Dan Rather is a little old now, and other studies have been conducted based upon the physical health benefits of meditation. It isn’t surprising that the whole body seems to be healthier, happier, and more well when we meditate especially upon compassion.
