It is interesting to see how you think. I drew this guy from a photograph last night. While not bad nor good I think it is interesting how relative things can be. While the drawing for the most part is accurate, in doing a side by side comparison it is easy to see where I sometimes missed the mark. The light hole on his cheek is far more subtle than I’ve drawn it. In addition, the light on his neck is far more pronounced. His cheek too could be a little bit more in the light. On the other hand, I like the way I did his hair in drawing better than I think it appears in the photo, plus I get rid of all the superfluous back ground. I think this is just as much a portrait of how I see and think, as it is of him.
